Cy Young is one of four major keys to the T205 set, along with fellow Hall of Famers Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson and Christy Mathewson. Seldom seen in high grades, these cards are extremely desirable.
In 1911, Cy Young came to the end of his illustrious career. In 1956, MLB chose to name their annual award for pitching excellence after Mr. Young, an honor that will continue to keep his name fresh in the minds of future generations of baseball fans and collectors.
