Presented is a large format 11"x16" mounted image showing Mathewson receiving a presentational automobile at the Polo Grounds with his New York Giants teammates all around him. Mathewson is seen leaning on the car standing next to legendary manager John McGraw. The piece presents well, with minor printed titling visible within small window at bottom center. It appears to have been taken from the original mount and now is matted with photo/partial mount.
