As an original member of the Baseball Hall of Fame inaugural class of 1936, Mathewson was baseball’s first pitching superstar and still remains the NL leader in career wins with 373. Mathewson had two cards and a variation in the T206 set. Offered here is the portrait version with red and orange background that has proven to be the most popular with collectors and one of the rarest cards to find in an above-average condition.
