Nap “Larry” Lajoie recorded over 3200 major league hits, won the Triple Crown in 1901 and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1937. Offered is a rare Raymond and Kahn Co. postcard of the Clevalnd Indian Hall of Fame 2nd basemen. This 3.5"x5" postcard was postmarked Aug 21, 1907. Published by Raymond Kahn Co. Cleveland, the front features a nice head and shoulders portrait image of Nap looking at the viewer with his full name printed below the image. PSA has assessed this rarity AUTHENTIC and is slabbed accordingly. There are some minor creases and some slight staining on the front as is to be expected with any paper antiquity. Nothing deters from the vintage mystique on display. Unknown signature and notations are written on the verso in black fountain pen. Benjamin Franklin one cent stamp is affixed in the upper right quadrant of verso as well. Really unique piece of one of the best and earliest hall of famers to play the game.
