1905 PC782 ROTOGRAPH POSTCARD CLARK GRIFFITH PSA GOOD 2

This rare PC782 Rotograph real-photo postcard features Hall of Famer Clark Griffith (curiously misspelled “GRIFFILL”) as player/manager for the New York Highlanders.  Issued in 1905, the Rotograph real-photo postcard set featured only players from the New York Giants or New York Highlanders baseball teams. The player photos are easily identified as those by legendary photographer Charles Horner. The image of Griffith presented here is crystal clear with bold contrast. Unused postcard has an EX-MT appearance with faint adhesive residue on the unused reverse accounting for the low technical grade of GOOD 2 from PSA.
