Nice looking NM PSA 7 full unused ticket to a game featuring the Omaha Omahogs of the Western Association, a Class B professional League. The team began the season in Omaha and moved to Denver sometime during the 1895 season. Clean, perfect looking full ticket came right out of an unused season ticket book. Front has "Western Association Season 1895" at top with "Omaha Athletic Baseball Ass'n" toward the bottom. The facsimile autographs of "Thomas McVittis, Treasurer and Dave Rowe, President", appear at the bottom. Both these men served as the manager of the team sometime during the season. Rowe had previously managed in the majors with the Kansas City Cowboys, in the 1886 National League in 1886 and the American Association in 1888. From 1877 through 1886 he played over 7 years with teams in the National League, American Association, and Union Association. Front of the grandstand ticket features a beautiful design of the entrance to the Omaha ballpark with a gentleman holding open the gate and inviting you to come in. Back is blank. Small dent/nick at lower right edge the reason for the NM rating. Slabbed NM 7 by PSA.
