Beautiful die-cut and embossed color issue featuring Detroit Wolvering Hall of Famer Sam Thompson. Thompson, a .336 lifetime batsman, was a clutch hitting outfielder who drove in 100 or more runs in 8 of the 10 full seasons he played. All this while only once appearing in more than 133 games. Card still retains bright color and perfect registry. Pair of very small staple holes at top and slight creasing do not detract from the overall fine image.
