Beautiful 1887 N690 Kalamazoo Bat of Arthur Irwin, long time 19th century player and manager. Kalamazoo Bats are extremely difficult to find but very popular among collectors for their large size and actual photo design. The offered card displays much better than the VG+ rating. Super clear photographic image. Decent centering. Very clean both front and back. Pair of paper wrinkles on top back which do not translate to the front are the main reason for the given technical grade. The finest known as nothing has ever been graded higher by PSA nor SGC.
