Superior color and image stand out on this very well centered card of Hall of Fame pitcher Tim Keefe. In 14 years of major league service, Keefe racked up 344 victories playing mostly for New York teams, including 35 the year this early chewing tobacco card was issued. He lead the Mets and Giants to 3 Championships(1884, 1888, 1889) and was the major league career strikeout leader when he retired in 1893. Very clean both front and back, a couple of small nicks on the front prevent this beauty from obtaining a higher rating. Scores a "10" in overall eye appeal.
