Very nice looking card of St. Louis Brown Hall of Fame 1st baseman Charles Comiskey from the 1887 Buchner Gold Coin tobacco issue. Comiskey is best remembered for being owner of the 1919 Black Sox who threw the World Series to the Cincinnati Reds that year. Cards displays VG-EX from front. Crisp, clear in focus picture with great color. VG-EX looking corners. Relatively clean front. Decently centered for the issue. Album paper still attached to about 40% of back seems to be the reason for the PSA 1.5 rating. There appears to be no paper loss to card back with the surface looking to be in tack underneath the album paper.
