1865 Abraham Lincoln 3 3/8" by 8 3/4" silk mourning ribbon honoring the slain President of the United States. Bold, black portrait image of Lincoln dominates the center with the words "WE MOURN" above and "A FATHER SLAIN" below. Nice piece of American History from the dark days of the Civil War. At bottom sides of front are two small areas (1/2" by 1/2", 3/8" by 1") of excess paper. 1/4" by 3" piece of vintage looking white tape near top back.
