The biggest NBA off-season move in the summer of 2016 was Kevin Durant leaving Oklahoma City for the Bay Area. Heavily criticized for joining a "Superteam" alongside Steph, Klay and Draymond, KD left behind a bitter Russell Westbrook, who became the first since Oscar Robertson to average a triple-double. But Russ did not get a ring. He was left watching from his couch as his former teammate led the Dubs to their second championship in three years over LeBron and the Cavs. KD dominated the 2017 NBA Finals, averaging over 35 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists to claim series MVP honors.

Presented here are a pair of Durant's game-worn Nike shoes from his 2016-17 championship season with the Golden State Warriors, a campaign that further cemented his name among the basketball greats. Durant wore them on December 5, 2016, in a 142-106 drubbing of the Indiana Pacers in which he tallied 20 points and 8 rebounds in a highly efficient 22 minutes of action. The game featured one of best highlight alley-oop dunks of the year by Durant (see video below).

Coming in his massive size 18, these Nike Zoom 'KDIX' sneakers are black and red-specked with a translucent sole. Each heal has a “KD” logo in white and “KD35” is embroidered on both tongues. Nike size 18 labels with the proper manufacturer's date are sewn inside each shoe and the original black laces are intact. The shoes show solid wear with light scuffs from court use. Durant has signed each shoe on the outer area beside the Nike swoosh in 8/10 silver marker.

Includes COA from his exclusive memorabilia  partner Panini Authentic (PA44440), with a matching hologram affixed to each shoe. Autographs pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
