Joey Bosa's NFL career got off to slow start. The Chargers' 3rd overall pick in the 2016 Draft, he held out for the team's first four games while negotiating his rookie contract. Once that was settled, the explosive 6' 5" 280-lb. Defensive End out of Ohio State got right down to business. His 10.5 sacks and relentless pressure on opposing QB's earned him the Defensive Rookie of the Year after missing a quarter of the season. Bosa picked up right where he left off in 2017, notching 12.5 sacks and 70 total tackles to make his first of what will be many Pro Bowls. The scary thing is, NFL experts predict that his younger brother, Nick, who will be one of the top picks in the upcoming draft, is even more talented.

Offered here is Joey Bosa's game-worn Los Angeles Chargers jersey from a home game against the Cleveland Browns on December 3rd, 2017. He was an unstoppable force that day with a sack, forced fumble and seven tackles (two for a loss) in leading the Chargers D in the team's 19-10 victory. The "Color Rush" blue jersey is absolutely pounded with use. The back and shoulders are loaded with grass and chalk stains as well as some Browns paint transfers, allowing it to be easily photo-matched to photos provided by the consignor.

Inside the rear collar is the Nike manufacturer's tag [size] 42 with a "2017" flag tag. All elements of the jersey come unaltered and problem-free. Bosa's No. "99" appears on the front, back and both shoulders in yellow on navy blue and white tackle twill, the same configuration as the Chargers lightning bolts on both sleeves. "BOSA" appears on the back in yellow on navy tackle twill across a blue nameplate. The tail has an elastic spandex hem and both sleeves feature the embroidered Nike Swoosh patch in white. At the V-neck is the official “NFL Equipment” logo shield patch directly above the embroidered Chargers block-letters logo patch.

The consignor is one of the most passionate and knowledgeable Chargers collectors in the hobby. He has included four 8x10 photos from the 12/3/17 Browns game that clearly match this offered specimen. In addition, the shirt comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by both the Chargers' equipment manager and Director of Corporate Sponsorships in conjunction with memorabilia distributor Fanatics. Awesome gamer from one of the NFL's top pass rushers.

Includes Chargers COA and Fanatics Auth. (AA0017624) hologram.
