Addendum: Jersey worn 12/3/2016, not 12/12/2014 as heading previously stated.
As a wide-eyed, 19-year-old standout from Greece, Giannis Antetokounmpo was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 15th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. The 6’ 11” athletic freak with a 7’ 3” wingspan has made huge strides – pun intended – since entering the league. From averaging under 7 points per contest during his rookie campaign to an eye-popping 27 points, 10 rebounds and nearly 5 assists per game this past season, the “Greek Freak” is well on his way to becoming one of, if not, the best player in the league for years to come. On December 3, 2016, he took flight wearing this offered Bucks home jersey to tally 16 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks against the visiting New Jersey Nets, leading Milwaukee to a 113-102 victory.
The white polyester home jersey reflects proper manufacturer’s tagging on the lower left front tail with “Adidas climacool Size XL” tagging on the front left tail with a “LENGTH +2" flap tag. Adjacent to that is the NBA Authentication tag with a “MBU01819” code. Hand-written on the jock tag/player ID area, presumably by the team equipment manager, is “12-3 VS. NETS.” The front of the jersey reads “BUCKS” fanned out across the chest in green tackle twill outlined in beige. His uniform number “34” appears below the team name in similar tackle twill fashion. The Bucks “M” logo appears on the bottom of the jersey’s V-neck. The team’s green, beige and white colors run down the length of both sides of the jersey. His last name appears in green tackle twill sewn directly onto the back of the jersey across the shoulder blades. His uniform number appears on the reverse in green tackle twill outlined in beige.
