Ticket stub to the November 3, 1923 contest between Chicago and Illinois, the first football game played at the newly built and not quite finished Memorial Stadium. The stadium was dedicated to those Americans who died in World War I. Illinois crushed Chicago 39 to 14, powered by Red Grange's six touchdowns. Many consider this one of the greatest single-game performances in football history. 2 3/8" by 2 3/8" stub Has some creasing, but none that disrupts the top paper surface. Corners VG. "David Bradley" written in dark blue ink at top.
