Russell Westbrook was named the NBA’s Most Valuable Player following the 2016-17 season when he became just the second player (Oscar Robertson, 1961-62) to ever average a triple-double for an entire season. This lot features Russ’ Oklahoma City Thunder polyester mesh blue Adidas jersey worn by the perennial All-Star on Nov. 24, 2012, against the host Philadelphia 76ers. In a competitive game, held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Westbrook played 41 minutes and registered 30 points, nine assists and five rebounds in the Thunder’s 116-109 road win. The relentless point guard, whose athleticism and boundless energy never cease to amaze us all, averaged 23.2 points, 7.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds for his 60-22 OKC squad that entered the Western Conference playoffs as the #1 seed before bowing out in the semifinals.

The size “L” blue jersey, which shows good game use, has “OKLAHOMA CITY” stretched across the front in white tackle twill outlined in blue and black. His uniform number “0” appears in similar fashion on both the front and back of the jersey. The lower left front tail includes the proper Adidas manufacturer’s tagging with “11-24-12” written in black marker, next to the serial number tag (OTH00126). His number and name “0 WESTBROOK” is written in black marker on the front tagging and a flag tag reading “LENGTH +2” appears to the right. His last name “WESTBROOK” is sewn directly onto the back of the jersey in white tackle arched fashion across the shoulders. The official embroidered red, white and blue NBA logo appears on the left shoulder.

Includes full LOA from the NBA and The MeiGray Group.
