Chicago-native Dave Corzine was signed out of DePaul by the Bullets in 1978. After time spent with both Washington and San Antonio, Corzine realized the dream of starring for his hometown Chicago Bulls. This offered jersey has been photo-matched to the Bulls' November 19, 1984, game against the Pacers. Corzine saw 10 minutes of action and scored 4 points in the 137-120 loss to Indiana.
The home white mesh jersey has “BULLS” arched across the front with Corzine’s number “40” in black and red appliqué. The neck and sleeve openings are trimmed with red, white and black ribbing. The remains of a size “46” Rawlings label is sewn in the lower left front tail and a second Rawlings size 46 hang tag is sewn inside the tail. The back has “CORZINE” and his number “40” in black and red appliqué. Corzine has signed the numbers in contrasting silver marker. The jersey shows medium to heavy game use, with overall toning, fading to the appliqué lettering and several stains throughout. A great Bulls pre-dynasty gamer worn by a hometown boy.
Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
