Presented here is a ticket to the first game Michael Jordan ever played in a Chicago Bulls uniform. Just 2,000 specators can say they were on hand at Peoria Civic Center Arena (capacity 12,000) on October 5, 1984, when Air Jordan first sported his iconic No. 23 in an NBA game. In 29 minutes of action, young Mike tallied 18 points and led his team to a 102-98 preseason victory over the Indiana Pacers. The stub appears NM-MT in our eyes with super sharp corners and strong print quality on the front. Very clean front and back, the reverse reveals the Ticketmaster distributor details. (Per their policy, PSA will not grade Ticketmaster issued tickets.) Perforation is perfectly executed along the right side. Completely crease-free with no surface issues, this little piece of basketball history presents beautifully. In our opinion, it comes in the best condition among the four that have recently hit the auction block, starting with the first known example in May that netted $34,800. Our consignor was one of those lucky enough to witness the beginning of MJ's legend in person.
