Brett Favre has gone down in the record books as one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Over his two-decade career Favre was a 3-time NFL MVP and holds the record for most consecutive starts and longest touchdown pass. Favre wore this Vikings jersey during the October 11, 2010, game against the New York Jets in Giants Stadium. This game was historic in that Brett Favre became the first quarterback in NFL history to reach both 500 touchdowns and 70,000 yards. The Vikings legend threw three touchdowns and reached the 500-TD plateau, though the Jets eventually won the game, 29-20. Favre’s game worn white jersey from that game has his number “4” in blue and gold tackle twill on the front along with the Vikings 50th anniversary patch and his captain’s patch. Blue and gold striping runs down the sides and the shoulders have his number “4” repeated on the shoulders. The back has “FAVRE” in blue on a white nameplate above his number “4” in Vikings blue and gold. The NFL legend has signed the number “4” as well as dating it and listing his stats from the historic game. The jersey shows great game use with some scuffs and turf marks throughout. The jersey comes complete with a photo of Favre holding and signing the jersey, NFL-PSA/DNA COA and photomatching LOA.
