Chief Bender autographed handwritten letter dated Sept. 4, 1925 is penned on Chicago hotel stationery which reads, "My dear sir, I have done as you requested and am enclosing the two slips of paper signed. Am glad to know that you are deeply interested in our national pastime of baseball. Yours very truly "Chief" C.A. Bender". Bender's writing and signature rate 9 out of 10. Letter itself shows typical folds and presents as EX-EX/MT, having been adhered to a larger album page.
