Offered here is a handsome right shoe from Hakeem Olajuwon, widely considered one of the greatest centers ever to play the game. The attractive Spalding shoes are in superb condition, from the ornate rubber design components on the back of the heel to the intricate embroidery of "34" on the heel and "Spalding" on the side and the top of the tongue. The shoes show good game use but remain in remarkably pristine condition, with all elements intact and largely as-issued. Olajuwon has added a black Sharpie autograph to the outside panel toward the front, adding his No. 34 number inscription. The use of the later spelling of his first name dates the shoe likely after 1991 when, as a devout Muslim, he began using what he described as the proper spelling of his name with an "H." This is a nice piece from one of the key figures in the NBA at the close of the 20th century. Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from Olajuwon's business manager.
