Super Bowl VI was played on January 16, 1972 at Tulane Stadium in New Orleans, La. between the Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins. Dallas routed the Dolphins 24-3 with Roger Staubach throwing a pair of TD passes to earn MVP honors. Dallas remains the only team ever to prevent their opponent from scoring a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
