Zelmo Beaty's Helms Hall of Fame Achievement Award from the personal collection of the Basketball Hall of Fame center. Beaty played 12 seasons in the NBA and ABA, averaging 17.1 Points Per Game and 10.9 Rebounds. The 3rd pick overall in the 1962 NBA draft he played 7 years with the St. Louis/Atlanta Hawks(NBA) and 4 with the Utah Stars(ABA), before finishing off with the Los Angeles Lakers(NBA) for one final season. In 1970-71 he led the Utah Stars to the ABA Championship averaging 23.2 PPG and 414.6 RPG. Great condition award measures 15" by 17 1/2".
