Offered here is a wonderful trio of jackets worn by legendary Dodgers manager Walt Alston, who directed the fortunes of the club for 23 seasons between 1954 and 1976, winning 2,040 games, seven National League Pennants and four World Series crowns. All three pieces are from his personal collection, a lineup that includes a striking fleece lined satin Dodgers jacket.  The jacket has a MacMurray of California tag at the back of the collar with "XL" handwritten on it in black marker. The jacket is an absolute stunner, with the famed cursive "Dodgers" across the chest in white tackle twill, blue and white knit elastic on the cuffs, waist and collar and the white-trimmed zipper path.  Also included is a blue satin jacket issued for warmer weather, without a lining. This jacket is an absolute stunner, with the interlocking “LA” logo on the left breast in white tackle twill, and blue and white knit elastic on the cuffs, waist and collar. Lastly, we have a blue nylon button-front windbreaker absent of any logos, with blue and white knit elastic on the cuffs, waist and collar. A white swatch tag in the collar has Alton’s number “24” written in black marker.  All three jackets show excellent usage wear.

Comes with a Letter of Authenticity from the Family of Walter Alston.
