Walter “The Big Train” Johnson was a dominating right-hand pitcher who spent his entire 21-year career with the Washington Senators. A member of the Hall of Fame’s original Class of 1936, Johnson earned 417 victories, struck out 3,509 batters and posted a career ERA of 2.17. He signed this official American League Reach Baseball across the sweet spot, slightly off center. The signature is in black ink and is faded as the ball shows obvious discoloration through the years.
