There was only one Tony Gwynn — and there may never be another like him. Mr. Padre batted over .300 an NL-record 19 times, never hit below .309 in a full season and ended his sterling career with a .338 career average that ranks supreme among all post-WWII players. Throw in with five Gold Gloves and the rest is inevitable: election to the Hall of Fame in 2007, his first year of eligibility. And he was a National League All-Star on 15 occasions. Presented here then is a wonderful artifact from that 1995 season when Gwynn hit .368 and locked up No. 6 of his eight titles and earned All-Star nod No. 11. The 34-inch Rawlings Adirondack commemorative bat has "1995 All Star Tony Gwynn" stamped on the barrel, the Texas Rangers All-Star Game logo imprinted and approximately 30 signatures from the team, all in black Sharpie, including Ozzie Smith, Barry Larkin, Ron Gant, Craig Biggio, Felipe Alou, Fred McGriff, Vinny Castilla and others. Bat is essentially in as-issued and problem-free condition.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Gwynn Family

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

A portion of the proceeds generated by the Tony Gwynn Collection will be donated to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation.
