San Diego Padres legend Tony Gwynn was himself a 15-time National League All-Star selection who shined bright during many of the Mid-Summer Classic battles. This lot includes a National League team-signed baseball from the 1993 MLB All-Star Game, which was held on July 13 at the newly opened Oriole Park at Camden Yards in Baltimore, Maryland. Although the American League All-Stars prevailed, 9-3, the National League contingent was loaded for bear that night. A total of 31 different NL All-Stars (and dignitaries) signed this official 1993 All-Star Game ball in blue ink with both NL Manager Bobby Cox and NL Hall of Famer Bob Gibson sharing the Sweet spot. Other notable signatures on the baseball include: Tony Gwynn, Bobby Bonilla, Barry Bonds, David Justice, Roberto Kelly, Gregg Jefferies, Dave Hollins, Tom Glavine, Rod Beck, Bryan Harvey, Jay Bell and Marquis Grissom. The autographs are all in good shape and would rate 8-9/10 in our book.

Includes Letter of Authenticity from the Gwynn Family.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.

A portion of the proceeds generated by the Tony Gwynn Collection will be donated to the Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation. The TAG Foundation is a non-profit, 5013(c) charity dedicated to creating and supporting programs that enhance opportunities for youth to become healthy, educated, and productive citizens. The TAG Foundation was organized in San Diego in 1995 by Tony’s wife, Alicia. For more information, visit www.tagwynn2.org.
