One of the more uniquely designed and seldom seen rings of the era, Bridges' 1934 AL Championship ring features a detailed tiger in relief clutching a blue center stone (in replacement of original diamond). A shield at the top of the left shank bears "Detroit '34" wrapped in laurel leaves. Intricately crafted in 14k gold, the inside band is engraved with his name "Tom Bridges". Size 10 1/2. Condition: Excellent overall, with minor wear from use. Accompanying the ring is an original oversized (10" by 13") photo of Bridges, circa 1934. The photo is mounted to a rigid backing board and in EX-MT condition. LOA from the Bridges Family.
