A key cog in the Yankee dynasty at the end of the millennium was slugging first baseman Tino Martinez. The smooth lefty swinger had at least 25 homers and 100 ribbies in every season but one from 1995-2001 during which New York celebrated four World Series in five seasons. In 1999, Tino batted .263 with 28 HR and 105 RBI as the Yanks cruised to another championship after sweeping the Atlanta Braves in the Fall Classic.

Presented here is Tino's 1999 World Series Louisville Slugger B349 professional model game used bat (34.5", 32 oz.). It has a cupped end with his No. "24" marked in black on the knob and remains un-cracked with a ton of game use. Ball contact, bat rack and cleat marks cover the barrel and there is a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle. Martinez went 4-for-15 in the series with a home run and 5 RBI. Great gamer from a well-respected, and often underappreciated Yankee great.
