THURMAN MUNSON EARLY CAREER SIGNED CUT INDEX CARD INSCRIBED "NEW YORK YANKEES" (PSA/DNA NM-MT 8 AUTO.)

Beautiful Thurman Munson cut signature on a 2.25" by 4" index card encapsulated and graded NM-MT 8 by PSA/DNA. He has signed in lovely blue ballpoint with "New York Yankees" inscribed. Few players dominated the 1970s decade like the gritty, mustached backstop. He was the AL's 1970 Rookie of the Year and 1976 MVP winner, a 7-time All-Star, 3-time Gold Glover and two-time World Champion all within a 9-year stretch. It all ended abruptly in August of 1979, though, when he died in a plane crash, making his autograph highly coveted by collectors. His signature style on this index card dates to the early 70s.
