A regal looking garmet for one of baseball's timeless heroes, Ted Williams. This piece has some weight to it, literally and figuratively, and has classic display potential.
Back in the day McAuliffe supplied caps and uniforms to many sports teams, specifically baseball. It was founded in 1896, when Tim McAuliffe Inc., a manufacturer of sporting goods emerged in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Downsized by competition over the decades, the McAullife name was gone by the end of the 1960's, but this "Salesman's Sample" artifact, in outstanding condition, lives on.
