The 1961 Pro Bowl, the NFL's eleventh annual all-star game, brought together the best performers from the memorable 1960 season. Held on January 15, 1961, at the iconic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, the game witnessed an electric atmosphere with 62,971 passionate fans in attendance. The West team emerged triumphant with a final score of 35-31 against the East.

One of the most prestigious honors in the Pro Bowl was the presentation of the trophy to the outstanding lineman. In 1961, this coveted accolade was bestowed upon Sam Huff, a player who exemplified excellence throughout his career. Notably, Huff's achievements extend beyond the Pro Bowl, as he has been enshrined in both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

This Trophy presented by the Helms Athletic Foundation stands 20” tall and is 7” wide at its base.  The inscription on the Trophy reads “SAM HUFF” “Pro Bowl Football Lineman of Game 1961”
