Game used Official Wilson Intercollegiate Michigan State University football belonging to Steve Garvey from the September 30, 1967 contest between the Michigan State Spartans and the University of Southern California Trojans played at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing Michigan. On the top panel of the ball Garvey has signed in perfect 9-10/10 black felt tip pen "USC vs MSU 1967 Steve Garvey #24". In a hard fought contest Michigan State fell to the then #2 ranked and eventual National Champion University of Southern California Trojans 21-17. Using a devastating ground game, O. J. Simpson rushed for 190 yards on 31 carries for the Trojans. Football exhibits heavy use and does need some air.
