Presented here is a historical silver scale model of the Estadio Bernabeu, home of the World famous Real Madrid football club. The gorgeous model of the historic venue was originally presented to two time Ballon d'Or winner Alfredo Di Stefano during his playing days for the prestigeous Spanish club. Di Stefano was also a five-time winner of the Pichichi Trophy, given annually to the highest scorer in the Spanish First Division during his time with Madrid from 1953-1964. The club found success with Di Stefano during his 9 year stay at the club, winning eight league titles along with five more European trophies. The model features two enamel Real Madrid Crests affixed to the stadium's ramparts and sits atop a wooden base measuring 10x11 inches. The actual model measures approximately 3x7.5 inches at it's widest dimensions. A plaque is affixed to the wooden base and reads, "Alfredo Di Stefano / 'La Saeta Rubia'". "La Seta Rubia" or "The Blond Arrow" was Stefano's nickname while a the club. The fabulous piece comes with the original green presentation box and is accompanied by an LOA confirming it's orgins from the Rony Almeida Collection.
