The 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers broke through and beat the cross-town AL champion New York Yankees in 7 games to win the World Series. It remains one of the most talked about teams of all time.

The loaded Dodgers roster included Hall of Famers Roy Campanella (who won the 1955 N.L. MVP Award), Duke Snider, the iconic Jackie Robinson, Pee Wee Reese and a rookie pitching prospect named Sandy Koufax. Other stars included Gil Hodges, Carl Furillo, and Jim Gilliam. The formidable pitching staff was comprised of 20-game winner ace Don Newcombe, Carl Erskine, Joe Black, Johnny Podres and rookie Koufax.

This magnificent 8" x 10" UPI Wire Service 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers team photo, slabbed as Authentic by PSA, is the perfect testament for that outstanding world championship squad. It is also fascinating to see the stamps and markings on the back of the photo, which tells its own story.
