A superb ticket from the big-league debut of one of the greatest players of the 21st century: Mookie Betts. The owner of this bleacher seat ticket was able to watch as the 21-year-old Betts, called up the day before from Pawtucket, went 1 for 3 with a walk and run scored as Boston beat the Yanks, 8-5. Betts would go on to hit just under .300 for the rest of the summer, securing a place in the Red Sox’s regular lineup. The front of the June 29, 2014 Yankees season ticket commemorates Mariano Rivera’s 652 all-time saves and displays very nicely. The perforations along the left and right edges show slight color loss and there are no folds or tears visible. The reverse is clean with no stains or paper loss. The ticket has been encapsulated and graded a NM-MT 8 by PSA.
