Offered here is a World Series ticket stub that is historic in many rights. Game 1 of the 1951 World Series was the first Fall Classic appearance for legends Mickey Mantle and Willie Mays! The Yankees bested the Giants in six games for the team's third consecutive championship. The series also served as the last for Joe DiMaggio, who retired at its conclusion. It was also the first World Series to be televised exclusively by one network (NBC) as well as the first to be televised nationwide, as coaxial cable had recently linked both coasts.
