The 1977 NBA season was a legendary year for basketball. The league’s rival the ABA had just merged with the NBA giving us 4 new teams in the Nuggets, Spurs, Pacers, and Nets, and dozens of new players entering the spotlight. Julius “The Doctor” Erving took the league by storm, winning MVP in that year’s All-Star game, and highlighting just how flashy these ABA guys could be.
Aside from the 3 cards graded EX-MT 6 (Maravich, Dantley, Erving), this set of 132 cards laid out neatly in a binder features some of the greatest from that generation in excellent to near-mint condition, including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, John Havlicek, George “Iceman“ Gervin, Bill Walton, and so many more hall of famers and future grading possibilities for the new owner.
