This photo taken in 1925 of Babe Ruth and manager Miller Huggins, titled “Ruth and Huggins Are Friends Once More,” depicts the mending of the relationship between the two. 1925 was a year filled with issues for Ruth, and Huggins finally said no more and fined him a very hefty $5,000. The image measures 6" by 7-1/4" with paper credit attached on back. Photo is about VG-EX with some creases and wrinkles. After suspending and fining Ruth in 1925, the diminutive Huggins is widely viewed as having taken a "bunch of carousers" and instilled “Yankee Pride” into them, thus leading to an unprecedented run of championships.
