Over 130 years of rich history are behind this exceptionally rare and high quality example from the 1888 N162 Goodwin "Champions" issue.  There are no other examples graded higher than the presented King Kelly graded PSA NM-MT 8 which should give even more incentive for the opportunitistic advanced collector to go after this piece.  Most 19th century sets are extremely challenging to collect but the N162 Goodwin & Co "Champions" from 1888 is by far the toughest of the small handful of cards that are still in circulation to date.

The featured card in PSA NM-MT 8 displays bright and clean with almost no condition issues to note. The borders are well preserved and are frosty white with as good of centering as you can get on a card from the era. Very slightely favored bottom to top with decently sharp corners and an extremely well preserved back that includes ultra legible print. An outstanding rarity of Kelly, who transcended the game that belongs in any advanced collection.
