No two finer pitchers ever came up through the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers organization than Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale. Koufax, a southpaw, registered a career record of 165-87 with a career ERA of 2.76. He also won three Cy Young Awards (1963, ’65 and ’66) and threw four no-hitters. Drysdale, an overpowering right-hander, was an intimidator who loved to throw brush-back pitches to keep hitters off kilter. Drysdale’s record was 209-166 and he once pitched 58 2/3 consecutive scoreless innings, a record that stood until Dodgers ace Orel Hershiser broke it in 1988. Both men were inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame. This lot features a beautifully matted and framed collage of two single-signed color photos of the two hurlers positioned above two specially engraved black-and-silver plaques listing their respective career achievements. The overall framed measurements are 25” wide by 30” high.
