Two-time FIFA World Player of the World recipient and 2005 Ballon d'Or winner, Ronaldinho had one of the most skillful and delightful touches in the history of football. ESPN once described the attacking midfielder's style of play as, "Skillful by nature, his tricks are unparalleled and he is wonderful with the ball at his feet. One of the coolest players in pressure situations."  When Ronaldinho had the ball in his possession, fans would sit at the edge of their seat in anticipation of something spectacular and he rarely failed to deliver.
Featured in this lot is Ronaldinho's 2002 World Cup Champions award presented by the CBF. The approximately 11" x 7 1/4" wooden plaque features a gold circular plate with the CBF crest front and center.  Another gold colored plate reads, "Homenagem da Confederacao Brasileira de Futebol ao Atleta Ronaldo de Assis Moreira Pela conquista da Copa do Mundo de 2002 29 de Novembro de 2002 Ricardo Teixeira Presidente."  Comes with the original presentation box. Includes LOA from Brazil National Team (CBF) Technical Coordinator, who is also the nephew of former CBF President Ricardo Teixeira.
