This outstanding black-and-white Roberto Clemente portrait photo was issued by the Pirates in the late 1960s. The exceptional portrayal of the revered Hall of Famer and humanitarian features his highly coveted signature in blue ball point, which projects superbly against the mostly white background of his uniform top. Clemente’s extremely desirable, non-personalized inscription is slightly affected by a moisture stain at the center of the image (lower neck area). Signature rates 8/10 while photo is otherwise NM with note to moisture stain.
