Fascinating abstract wire sculpture of a basketball player from Red Auerbach's Boston office. Sculpture depicts a basketball player with both arms raised over head holding a basketball. the wire used for ball a different color to make ball stand out. The wire that makes up the sculpture very similar to if not the same as used in coat hangers. Very lightweight wire sculpture stands 17" tall on a 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" by 1 1/2" wood base. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
