8-1/2" tall and 10" wide John. W. Bunn award presented to Red Auerbach April 28, 1980. Silver bowl on top is tarnished but remains free from dents or dings. Wooden trophy base has a few areas of wear on the edges and a few light scratches on the engraved plaque.
The John W. Bunn Lifetime Achievement Award is considered by the Basketball Hall of Fame to be it's most prestigious award it gives out besides actual induction. It's named after John Bunn who was the first chairman of the Basketball Hall of Fame Committee (1949-1964).
Includes letter of provenance from Red Auerbach estate.
