After closing out the decade of the 1960's by leading the Celtics to three consecutive championships Red Auerbach was an easy choice for "Coach of The Century" as he was named by the Celtic Fan Club. This impressive 17” tall trophy features a figural brass basketball atop a white plastic base. An engraved plaque on the base reads, “Presented to Arnold 'Red' Auerbach Coach of the Century From Celtic Fan Club 3-6-60 1946, 1960.” The trophy shows minimal wear and retains outstanding display quality. Includes a letter of provenance from the Auerbach estate.
