Two of the greatest home run hitters in professional baseball history are Japan’s Sadaharu Oh and “Hammerin’ Hank” Aaron, the latter who played 23 MLB seasons (1954 to 1976) with the Milwaukee/Atlanta Braves. Oh played 22 seasons for the Yomiuri Giants of the Nippon Professional Baseball league from 1959 to 1980, and holds the world lifetime home run record, having hit 868 home runs during his prolific career. Aaron, meanwhile, is the man who surpassed Babe Ruth’s all-time MLB record of 714 home runs in 1974 and eventually finished his career with 755 career round-trippers to his credit. Aaron remains No. 2 on MLB’s all-time list, trailing only Barry Bonds who launched 762 homers.

This lot features a pair of single-signed baseballs signed by the two home run crushing legends. Aaron has signed the sweet spot of an ONL (Charles S. Feeney) in 7-8/10 red ink, while Oh has signed a commissioner-approved baseball in bold 8-9/10 black marker both in English and Japanese that shows slight bleeding. Great pairing of two baseball legends represented in this lot.

Includes letter of provenance from the daughter of a longtime MLB executive whose name will be revealed to the winning bidder. Balls pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
