Game 1: 1893 MAYO CUT PLUG ADVERTISING BASEBALL GAME. 8" by 15 1/2" game board features a baseball playing field with advertising for Mayo Tobacco products. Eleven players (9 Boston in the field and 2 New York Giant base runners) and two umpires, that were issued in Mayo Cut Plug packs, are neatly attached in their appropriate positions. The original teetotem, used to determine play, is neatly attached in the upper right hand corner. Appears to be in near mint or better condition. Together with Game 2: MAY 17, 1896 PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER ART SUPPLEMENT BASEBALL GAME. 10" by 15" cardboard game features a playing field along with rules, plays, 10 players, and teetotem. Field, players, and teetotem are meant to be cut out. Game is copyrighted by Donaldson Brothers, NY with patent applied for 1895. The game is very clean overall and near mint in appearance with a few small creases at lower corners. Both are framed together to an overall size of 21 1/4" by 25" and originate from the Barry Halper Collection.
