This lot includes a pair of 1998 Super Bowl XXXII copper variation and green variation ticket stubs each graded PSA GEM MT 10.
Super Bowl XXXII was played at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on January 25, 1998 and featured the Denver Broncos vs. the Green Bay Packers. The Broncos came out on top 31-24 and earned the franchise their first Super Bowl Championship after suffering four losses in as many attempts at the Super Bowl.
The game was close throughout much of the contest and the Broncos only led by a field goal at halftime, 17-14. With 13:32 remaining in the game, Green Bay tied up the ball game and had high hopes of becoming back to back Super Bowl Champions until Terrell Davis broke free for a go ahead touchdown with under two minutes remaining and secured the victory for the Broncos. Davis rushed for 157 yards, caught for 8 more and scored three rushing TD's (a Super Bowl Record) and was named the game's MVP.
These tickets are in pristine condition with perfectly sharp corners, eye-popping colors and overall super clean condition. The PSA GEM MT 10 grade is well deserved on both of these tickets. This Lot has a combined SMR of $1900.
