Basketball legends Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson were embarking on historic NBA seasons when Sports Illustrated produced their 1961-62 pro basketball preview issue.
A shrewd collector had the presence of mind to get them to ink the panel by their specific team previews, "Wilt the Stilt" with the Philadelphia Warriors and "The Big O" with the Cincinnati Royals.
This was Wilt's milestone season where he had his 100 point game and averaged 50.4 points per game. That's not a typo.
Oscar averaged a "triple double" for the season, although that term wasn't used, no one made a fuss about it, with Oscar's understated greatness and efficiency somehow mostly taken for granted!?
